Accused but not Condemned

What is Accusation?

1. A charge for wrong doing
2. An allegation to find fault.
3. A pronouncement to cast down and bring shame (A pull-him-down syndrome).

The spirit behind accusation is condemnation not reconcilation. John 8:10.
The law came with the ministry of condemnation, but Jesus came with the ministry of love, mercy and reconciliation. John 5:44

What does it mean to condemn?
1. To pass final judgement
2. To pronounce an imposed guilt. Luke 7:37-48
Accusation is the work of satan and accusers serve satan. Revelation 12:10
John 5:45. God never brings accusations, neither should you. 2 Peter 2:11-12
John 8:5-6, Matt 12:10, 13-15. When satan cannot find another man to accuse you, he makes you begin to accuse yourself. 1Kings 17:18-19.
Nothing good comes out of accusation, only condemnation.

Outputs of accusation:
1. Hatred and destruction of another
2. Self-righteousness and pride. Luke 18:10-14
3. Hopelessness and the decision to give up. Matthew 27:3-5.
The guilty sinner and fallen believer does not need condemnation. The devil, his conscience, his sin are condemning him already.

What the sinner needs:
1. Conviction unto brokenness. John 16:8
2. Consciousness of God’s love, mercy and salvation John 3:15-18
3. Call to repentance and reconciliation. 2Corintians 5:14-16

What the sinner needs after salvation:
1. Confidence and assurance of salvation. Romans 8:1-2
2. Continuous, compassionate, correction with love and humility. Galatians 6:1.
Not everybody is qualified to correct somebody.
